Société Générale has been present in Azerbaijan since 1998 through its regional representative office covering Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan. The company has been involved in the major strategic projects in Azerbaijan like Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline and Sumgait Power Plant. Recently, Société Générale received a mandate as a financial advisor in Oil-Gas Refining and Petrochemicals Complex Project in Azerbaijan.
