On 13-14 October, 21st World Investment Conference of World Association of Investment Promotion Foundation (WAIPA) took place in Istanbul.
The Conference brought together Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) from a vast number of countries, government officials, development sector leaders, private sector representatives and academics relevant to FDI policy and strategy.
This year WIC debate sessions focused on maintenance of sustainable FDI as a main driver to achieve SDGs, influence of technology in IPA service excellence and factors that determine private sector investments into markets.
AZPROMO’s president and WAIPA’s vice-president Rufat Mammadov also attended the event.
