Export of non-oil products increased by 13.48% in Azerbaijan

 

Over the first six months of 2013 Azerbaijan’s export of non-oil products increased by 13.48% compared to the same period of 2012.

In January-June, 2013 foreign trade turnover totaled $17.1 bln., $11.97 bln.  of which accounts for exports from Azerbaijan and $5.17 bln. stands for imports. Azerbaijani resident and non-residents conducted trade operations with 137 countries around  the world

For January-June, 2013 top trading partners of Azerbaijan in exports were: Italy ($ 2 864,00 bln.), Indonesia ($1 316,87 bln), Tailand ($ 1 117,34 bln), Germany ($829,28 bln), Russia ($636,97 bln),  India ($630,20 bln), France ($588,78 bln), Taiwan ($467,31 bln), Israel ($417,65 bln) and Grecce ($378,56 bln). In imports were: Russia ($745,58 bln), Turkey ($711,40 bln), Great Britain  ($510,96 bln), Germany  ($349,81 bln), France ($342,05 bln), China ($317,55 bln), Ukraine ($293,84 bln), Japan ($186,02 bln), USA ($184,13 bln) and Kazakhstan ($152,59 bln). 

$46,56 bln. of non-oil exports made ships, boats and floating structures. Besides, mainly exported non-oil products were sugar and sweets; fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; fruit and vegetables, hazelnuts and their processed products; tea; cotton; textile; precious stones and metals; ferrous metals and articles made from them; aluminum and articles made from it; products of chemical industry; electrical machinery and equipments; mechanical installations and appliances.
