On 13th of May, a business meeting was held with the Friendship Association of Azerbaijan-Serbia at the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). During the meeting the latest information on current relations were shared, and discussions for further co-operation between the business circles of Azerbaijan and Serbia were discussed.
The Head of AZPROMO, Mr Rufat Mammadov, gave a briefing on activities of the Foundation, the business and investment climate of our country, including reforms carried out in recent years. He emphasized undertakings to enlarge economic and trade relations between business people from Azerbaijan and Serbia.
In his turn, the president of the Friendship Association of Azerbaijan-Serbia, Mr Zoram Sam, gave thorough information about the association, their goals and activities done so far, to strengthen friendly relations between these two countries.
During the meeting the parties had a wide-ranging discussion on bi-lateral export opportunities and investment perspectives in Azerbaijan for Serbian companies specializing in agriculture, food industry, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
The meeting concluded with mutual statements to increase the efforts to expand bilateral relations between our countries.
