Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) hosted a triangular meeting with the representatives of the Greek-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Sumgait Chemical Park in Baku Business Centre.
The head of AZPROMO, Rufat Mammadov, talked about government support mechanisms for entrepreneurs while mentioning various Greek companies operating successfully in Azerbaijan. Moreover, comprehensive information has been given to the guests on the Azerbaijan’s transit and investment opportunities and export-oriented products. The representatives of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, in their turn, fully presented the favorable business environment and conditions, explained infrastructure, tax and incentives in detail that apply to resident investors.
The president of the Greek-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, Costas Vamvakas, briefly spoke about the chamber he represented and followed to highlight that the investment climate in Azerbaijan, favorable conditions of the Industrial Parks, and export of the Azerbaijani goods to Greek market are of great importance to Greek businessmen, who are interested in close cooperation in related sectors.
The meeting stood out with its broad discussions on mutual investment promotion issues.
