The third nationwide meeting of Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association was held with organization of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) on March 28.
Chairman of the Association Badraddin Hasratov informed about work done to increase honey production and export in 2017 and extension of the products to foreign markets in a large volume.
Vice President of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev spoken about the support provided by AZPROMO to entrepreneurs in the direction of "Made in Azerbaijan" brand promotion for propaganda of beekeeping products at international exhibitions and expanding export of beekeeping products.
Department Head of the Ministry of Agriculture Qalib Abdulaliyev noted that beekeepers will be provided with subsidies to develop beekeeping with intensive methods, as well as to increase export, and answered questions of beekeepers.
At the end of the event, organizational issues were discussed.
