World trade has grown rapidly in recent decades. One of the most important contributing factors is the multilateral trade negotiations that have led to significant reductions in export duties.

To expand foreign trade, Azerbaijan has signed trade agreements with various countries. As a priority, Azerbaijan's foreign trade policy has always aimed to increase the country's role in international trade.

As such, the government takes various steps to develop export and import relations with other countries as well as to facilitate relevant procedures to further increase Azerbaijan's trade potential. The Trade Portal was designed to ensure the development of foreign economic activities of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of this strategy.
