Organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), a presentation held in Baku Business Centre on “Export potential of Azerbaijan to the countries along the Silk Road”. Representatives of up to 30 local companies engaged in agriculture and food industry, construction, pharmaceutical industry, IT and other fields attended the presentation.

The Head of AZPROMO Mr.Rufat Mammadov talked about measures taken for the development of the non-oil sector, stimulation of private sector, expansion of export, promotion of “Made in Azerbaijan” and foreign investments and improvement of business environment in Azerbaijan.

Director of international e-trade portal of ZOODEL for CIS countries Mr. Sardor Mahammadali introduced the portal and its activities.

Memorandum of Understanding on joint cooperation was signed between AZPROMO and ZOODEL at the event.

Note: ZOODEL is the e-trade portal for the companies operating in CIS that aims to facilitate export to the countries along the Silk Road. The e-portal offers its users trainings and conferences on export development, introduction of products in 6 languages and information about tenders available in 15 countries. Along with this, special catalogues are prepared regularly about the users which are distributed at international events. ZOODEL offers the Azerbaijani enterpreneurs to use the e-portal free of charge for 6 months.
