As part of the Azerbaijani delegation, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation is also represented at the XXIV International Economic Forum opened on June 2, 2021, in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The main purpose of the International Economic Forum that annually brings together government and business representatives from many countries is to discuss the development of cooperation, expansion of economic, trade, and investment opportunities existing between different countries and institutions. While participating in the economic forum, representatives of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) hold meetings with some relevant foreign companies and organizations to attract investment in the non-oil sector.

On the first day of the event, representatives from Qatar's Hassad Food, Qatar Free Zone Authority, Qatar Diar, Qatar Development Bank, and Qatar Investment Authority met to discuss investments, bilateral cooperation with Qatari companies, and implementation of joint projects.

The XXIV International Economic Forum will last until June 5, 2021.
