Noting the development of trade and economic partnership with the United States during the meeting, the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov made the participants aware of the national priorities and goals set for the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, the digital economy, increasing the role of small and medium-sized businesses in the economy, boosting transport and transit potential, systemic measures to improve the performance of state-owned enterprises, and highlighted the potential for expanding economic ties.

Governor Kevin Stitt expressed the intention of American companies to be involved in projects in Azerbaijan and shared his views on expanding economic ties.

The meeting discussed issues of expanding cooperation, participation of American companies in the restoration of our liberated territories, energy, including renewable energy sources, agriculture, technology transfer, and provided information on the logistics capabilities of the Alat Free Economic Zone.
