To help people suffering from hemophilia, thalassemia and other blood diseases, a regular blood donation campaign was held at the Ministry of Economy within the framework of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's program “For Life without Thalassemia”. Employees of the Ministry of Economy and its departments, who joined the call for charity, donated blood during this campaign. Hematologists checked the health of each donor in advance, and took the donors’ blood after a thorough medical examination. The donated blood will be used to treat patients with hemophilia and thalassemia, as well as other patients in need of blood.

The blood donation campaign began on June 14 and lasted for about 3 weeks.

Note that employees of the Ministry of Economy and its departments take part in this traditional humanistic action every year. It is planned that such charity events will continue in the future.
