An Azerbaijani-Israeli business forum took place in Baku with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO). Both countries’ representatives of state agencies and companies working in the field of agriculture took part in the forum. At the business forum, Director of the Center for Agrarian Innovations of the Ministry of Agriculture Akbar Abbasov spoke about innovations implemented in the agricultural sector of our country and emphasized opportunities for cooperation with relevant structures of Israel in the area of experience exchange, technology, training, agrarian education, and research.
Israeli Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry Vice-Director General Irena Ettinger-Weinstein noted that her country attaches great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan and shows interest in the participation of Israeli companies in the projects implemented in the agricultural sector, informing about the great opportunities to strengthen partnerships in the field of agriculture and research.
The event included a presentation on the investment climate in Azerbaijan and discussions on expanding existing business contacts and establishing new partnerships.
