Baku hosted the international festival ‘Art of Women’s Business’ jointly organized by the international non-governmental humanitarian organization SABAH and the Global Association of Azerbaijani Business People (GABA) with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Azerbaijan. Over 70 entrepreneurs attended the event.
The event's partners included the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, the Agency for Small and Medium Business Development (SMBDA), the State Employment Agency, and the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan (CEA). Speaking at the opening ceremony, representatives of these organizations provided information on national mechanisms to support entrepreneurs, including women entrepreneurship, and the work done by their representative organizations in this area.
The festival dedicated to the development of women's entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan featured a wide range of children's goods, accessories, toys, cosmetics, and books. It included a training session on Opportunities for Women's Entrepreneurship, master classes in painting and photography, and a 'food-zone' and entertainment program.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the international festival 'Art of Women's Business' dedicated to the development of women's entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan is to support women from low-income families, members of martyrs' families, and veterans.
