A panel discussion on 'Doing business in Azerbaijan’ took place in London within the framework of the 5th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Representatives of AZPROMO, Alat Free Economic Zone, BP, and the British Chamber took part in discussions that focused on cooperation in areas such as sustainable business climate improvement, increasing mutual investments, energy transition, digital economy, and infrastructure.
Yusif Abdullayev, head of AZPROMO, spoke about the economy of Azerbaijan and our country's trade and economic relations with Great Britain. It was noted that the successful implementation of socio-economic policy in our country has led to sustainable economic development, and a favorable business, and investment environment while increasing financial opportunities have turned our country into an investor.
The head of AZPROMO invited British business people to take advantage of the favorable business and investment environment created in our country for active cooperation with Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.
