Organized by the Center for Analysis of International Relations and the International Institute of Central Asia, a webinar took place on the topic ‘Prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the modern era.’
Attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, the International Institute of Central Asia, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, and the Center for Analysis of International Relations, the event focused on great opportunities for the development of ties in areas such as transport, agriculture, silkworm breeding, and others.
Speaking at the webinar, AZPROMO Advisor Zohrab Gadirov stressed the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of mutual investment and business and provided information on industrial zones as well as emphasized the importance of the Alat Free Economic Zone in terms of transport links.
