On June 29, Baku hosted the Azerbaijani-Georgian Business Forum jointly organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan (CEA), and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani and Georgian officials as well as entrepreneurs working in the fields of energy, transport, logistics, legal and financial consulting, food, construction, tourism, medicine, etc.
Speaking at the business forum, Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of Alat Free Economic Zone Valeh Aleskerov, and AZPROMO Advisor Zohrab Gadirov emphasized the development of cooperation and expansion of ties between the business circles of the two countries, stressing the importance of holding business forums and meetings to strengthen trade and economic partnership.
During the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Alat Free Economic Zone and the Hualing Kutaisi Free Industrial Zone.
The business forum continued its activity in the format of bilateral meetings between entrepreneurs of the two countries and a demonstration of Georgian products.
