The 6th Istanbul Economic Summit on "Global Value Chains" takes place in Istanbul.

At the event's opening ceremony, the head of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev spoke and reported on the favorable business and investment climate created in our country, export potential, as well as noted that the event is of particular importance in terms of the discussion of such issues as access to sustainable energy, tourism, food safety, women entrepreneurship, 'green energy,' and other areas of development.

The Minister of Economy and Energy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Olgun Amchaoglu, President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (FERB) Nail Olpak, Chief Economist of the World Bank Sibel Kulaksiz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the 'Yuvam Dünya' Association Kyvylchim Pinar Kochabiyk, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkiye Emine Erdem, and other officials also spoke at the opening of the summit.
