III meeting of the Uzbek-Azerbaijani Business Council took place in the framework of I Uzbek-Azerbaijani Interregional Forum in Tashkent with joint organization of National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by officials from both countries and business people representing various sectors of the economy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the head of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev informed about the favorable business and investment environment created in Azerbaijan and said that the Business Council will contribute to the expansion of trade and economic partnership between the two countries and the development of relations between the business communities in various sectors of the economy, as well as emphasized the great potential for expanding cooperation, calling on entrepreneurs of both countries to active cooperation.

First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Co-chairman of the Business Council Tura Bobolov, Vice President of ASK and Co-chairman of the Business Council Vugar Zeynalov, Chairman of the Board of Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), and representatives of other government agencies and business circles attended the event.

The event's activity continued to include discussions of the work implemented to fulfill the tasks identified during the previous meetings and ensure the expansion of ties between the two countries' business structures.
