Investment opportunities were discussed between Azerbaijan and Türkiye at the Investment Forum held in Baku.

Opportunities for cooperation were considered during a panel discussion on "Investment opportunities in the Republic of Azerbaijan" held within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum.

The event was addressed by Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov, Chairman of the Board of the Authorized Body of the Alat Economic Zone Valeh Aleskerov, Chairman of the Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency Elshad Nuriyev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company Ulvi Mansurov, Director General of the Institute of Economics Nazim Imanov, Deputy Director of the Financial Department of the President of Türkiye Necip Fazil Kaymak, and Director of Kartash LLC Nedjmeddin Tashbag. Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), moderated the panel session.

It was emphasized that holding the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum in Baku further strengthens the unity between the two brotherly countries.

It was noted that there is a great potential for expansion of ties between our countries in various fields of economy. The issues discussed during the Investment Forum and the negotiations held will be important for the development of trade and economic ties between friendly countries and business partnerships between entrepreneurs.

Positive dynamics are observed in all areas of our economic cooperation. The heads of our countries have set a goal to increase trade turnover to 15 billion US dollars. Successful implementation of joint projects, active promotion of mutual investments, and constant growth of trade turnover ensure confidence in achieving this goal.

The event featured information about the abundant resources and the favorable investment environment created in our liberated territories and emphasized that it is a matter of pride that brotherly Turkish companies are active in these territories.

The panel session included discussions on the effective conditions presented by our investment environment, the priority areas of investment in our country, the opportunities created for the entrepreneurs of the Alat Free Economic Zone and industrial zones, the activities of enterprises using foreign capital, state support on the investment platform, participation in the investment projects implemented in our liberated territories, and financing of business projects in the priority sectors.
