A discussion took place on the possibilities of developing bilateral trade and investment relations and the planned visit of AZPROMO to Mexico.
The Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO hosted a meeting with the delegation headed by Alberto Villa Viegas, a member of the Mexican Congress and chairman of the Mexican-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendship Group.
Executive director of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev provided information on the activities of the Agency and informed about the existing high-level political relations between our countries. To ensure the development of these relations, including at the economic level, information was provided on the objectives of the planned visit of the Agency's delegation to Mexico this year and that the program of the visit includes meetings with important companies operating in the country.
Member of the Mexican Congress Alberto Villa Viegas highly appreciated the prospects of expansion of trade exchange between our countries, especially the possibility of increasing export operations from Azerbaijan to Mexico. Noting the activity undertaken by the ambassadors of both countries in this area, the representative of the Mexican Congress expressed his readiness to provide coordination support during the planned visit of AZPROMO.
Mexican Ambassador to Azerbaijan Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, who took part in the meeting, talked about large-scale infrastructure projects implemented in the country and emphasized the importance of joint activities in the field of establishing bilateral investment partnerships with Mexican companies.
