AZPROMO hosts Moroccan media representatives

The meeting participants were provided with information on the activities and measures undertaken in the field of developing Azerbaijan's economy, improving the business environment, expanding exports, and encouraging foreign investments.

The Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO a group of influential representatives of Moroccan media visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev discussed the Agency's activity areas, processes taking place in Azerbaijan, the large-scale international events organized in the country, the development of the country's economy, including that of the non-oil sector, and talked about the activities and measures taken by AZPROMO to continuously improve the business environment, expand exports, promote the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand, and foreign investments.

Touching upon measures implemented to develop the business and investment environment in Azerbaijan and Morocco, Yusif Abdullayev stressed that AZPROMO cooperates with such entities as the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE) and General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) to increase mutual export and investment potential between the countries.

Besides, media representatives were informed about the full restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and rapid restoration and construction works in the territories liberated from occupation, works carried out to ensure the return of Azerbaijani citizens to the territories liberated from occupation, and large-scale measures implemented to restore the territories, their rapid integration into the national economy, ensuring their sustainable development, construction of the most modern infrastructure, restoration of cultural and historical monuments, and establishing living conditions. It was noted that more than 7 billion US dollars have been allocated from the state budget for reconstruction and restoration works in the mentioned territories, and the process goes on.

In the end, the Moroccan media representatives' questions were answered.

It should be noted that the meeting was attended by representatives of the Moroccan agency MAP, newspapers such as L'Opinion, Al Bayane, and L'Economiste, digital press outlet Le Desk, weekly news magazine TelQuel, and online news channel BBMT. During the visit to Azerbaijan, representatives of Moroccan media also held meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), the Media Development Agency, and other organizations.
