Azerbaijan and UAE hold business session

During the session, ideas were exchanged on joint initiatives to support the growth of high technology, agriculture, tourism and renewable energy in our countries.

A session on "Economic Diversification and Investment" took place in Baku within the framework of the Azerbaijan-United Arab Emirates Ministerial Experience Exchange Forum.

The event was attended by Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Economy Samed Bashirli and representatives of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM). The UAE was represented by Deputy Minister of Economy Abdullah Al Saleh, Deputy Minister of Investment Mohammad Alhawi, and Deputy Minister of Finance Younis Alkhouri.

The event included discussions on ways to effectively implement the potential of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE to ensure sustainable and multifaceted economic growth of our countries. The meeting discussed practices used in both countries to improve the investment climate, strengthen cooperation in fields such as renewable energy, agriculture, and tourism, and identify successful models and potential areas of joint action within the framework of public-private partnerships.
