The importance of intensifying relations between the business communities of the two countries was discussed.

Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan Issam bin Saleh al-Kuteili.

During the meeting, AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev stressed the importance of intensifying relations between business communities and implementing mutual investment projects in the context of expanding trade and economic relations between the two countries. AZPROMO plays an active role in the process of coordination between entrepreneurs, and in this regard, the importance of the Azerbaijan-Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Economic Forum to be held in Baku on 26 September this year was highlighted.

Ambassador Issam bin Saleh Al-Quteili highly assessed the current political ties between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan and emphasised that there are great opportunities for the development of economic cooperation. It was noted that up to 70 large Saudi Arabian companies will visit Azerbaijan on 30 September this year and AZPROMO will provide necessary support to establish ties between these companies and local entrepreneurs.
