Discussions focused on opportunities to increase and diversify the company's exports.

As part of COP29, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO held a meeting with the management of “GP Cotton Holdings” LLC and its subsidiaries, "Prime Cotton" and “Giltex.”

During the meeting, AZPROMO’s Executive Director, Yusif Abdullayev, provided an overview of the agency's activities, export promotion mechanisms, and the upcoming logistics subsidy mechanism. Representatives of GP Cotton Holdings shared information about the company’s production of cotton and textile products, as well as their primary export markets and goals. They emphasized the company’s intention to enter the European market, particularly Germany, by obtaining the “Green Button” certification, a sustainability label for textiles endorsed by the German government.

The discussion also covered strategies for expanding export volumes and geographic reach, prospects for signing preferential trade agreements, and attracting foreign investment to the textile sector. AZPROMO expressed its readiness to support the company in these endeavors, agreeing to exchange information and take practical steps in this direction.
