On April 17, Azerbaijan-Singapore Business Forum was held with the support of Ministry of Economy and Industry and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation(AZPROMO). During the event there were more than 50 delegates from ICT, logistics, pharmaceutical, oil and mining equipment, generator, metallurgy, electric power, the production of concrete equipment, operating in the fields of offshore construction works.
Rufat Mammadov, President of AZPROMO, gave promotion about country's economic success, favorable business and investment climate. He emphasized that Azerbaijan is an attractive country for foreign investment, and asked Singapore’s businessmen to be active for the future corporations.
Head of the Delegation of Singapore, CEO of “Genetics Innovations”-Ken Vong, expressed his thoughts about Azerbaijan`s fast-growing economy and expressed their great interest for the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, as well as for the establishment of new relations and emphasized the importance of bilateral meetings and business forums.
The presentations of Natig Madatov, representative of AZPROMO, about Business Climate and Oportunities in Azerbaijan and Aries Teo, Representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Singapore, about Singapore's economy and business environment got great interest of participants of business forum.
Then Samir Gasimov, representative of “Akkord” Industry Construction Investment Corporation gave information about his company. The business forum was followed by the bilateral meetings between Azerbaijani and Singapore`s businessmen.
