Participating at “Worldfood Moscow” under the national stand “Made in Azerbaijan”, “Balkhourma” and “Azerstar” was awarded with the gold medal by the nomination of “The Product of 2017”.

To note, only companies of Azerbaijan engaged in production and processing of dried fruits were awarded by the organizer “ITE Group”. So, the local companies got the highest prize during their first attendance at the event.

These nominations for “Balkhourma” as a producer of dried persimmon via a special processing method and “Azerstar” as a producer of hazelnut shows that our local products are ecologically clean and are produced and processed based on the modern technologies. At the exhibition “Worldfood Moscow” of which Azerbaijan is the exclusive partner, the products of more than 30 companies engaged in production of fruits and vegetables, fruit juices, natural mineral water, wine and other alcoholic drinks, dairy products, tea, hazelnut, confectionaries and canned goods are exhibited. Along with the quality, these products stand out with their packaging.

Launched on 11 September, “Worldfood Moscow” International Food Exhibition today comes to an end. In the frame of the exhibition, national stand of Azerbaijan was visited by representatives of more than 1000 foreign companies, where our participation was evaluated as “The Best Debut” and where our companies inked 13 contracts on export of hazelnut, confectionaries, vanilla sugar and baking powder.
