Export mission with the representatives of Azerbaijan companies engaged in the production of fruit juices, dried fruits, canned food, honey, tea, as well as production and processing of meat and dairy finished its visit to Jiddah, Saudi Arabia.
Within the export mission, the businessmen attended several bilateral meetings and discussed the matters of sale and distrubution of our local products in stores and markets. A meeting was held in Jiddah Trade and Commerce Chamber on the last day of the visit. The Vice-president of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev informed about the business environment in Azerbaijan, our competetive and export-oriented products, as well as the measures carried out towards “Made in Azerbaijan” brand promotion and activity of the companies participated in the export mission. Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in United Arabian Emirates Elnur Aliyev talked about trade relationships between Azerbaijan and Gulf countries and the prospects of cooperation enhancement as well.

Azerbaijan products, particularly honey, meat and dairy were met with a great interest in the meetings held with the companies of Saudi Arabia. Azerbaijan “Kerkom” and “Agro-MTS” companies started negotiations with several distribution firms on the export of honey and meat correspondingly to Saudi Arabia. “Milk-Pro” company started negotiations with “Sunbullah Group” distribution company on the export of dairy, “SunFood” LLC with “Al-Raya” stores network and with “Al neel” distribution company on the export of canned food, as well as “Saba” with “Sunbullah Group”, “Poultry service” and “Yamareh” companies on the export of meat products.
Within the export mission Azerbaijan businessmen visited large store networks of Saudi Arabia and researched the sale prospects of our products through these trade networks.
