Export of Azerbaijani products expands

“Sial Paris" international food fair is over in Paris, France.
The products of 23 Azerbaijani companies were presented at "Made in Azerbaijan" single country stand with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France and organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).Like in previous exhibitions Azerbaijani products were met with interest for their quality and taste by exhibition visitors and foreign companies.
In the framework of the exhibition, preliminary agreements were reached on the export of wine and other alcoholic drinks from “A + Co” company of Azerbaijan to Norway, as well as the export of the products of “Goygol Wine factory” to the US, Cambodia and China . Azerbaijan “Aznar and Agro-Azerinvest” products were exported to Brazil, Ukraine and Germany, while “Tovuz Baltiya” held talks on the export of products with Japan, Italy, China, Romania, Cambodia . In addition , Azerbaijan's “Mars-FK” company agreed to export 36 tons of hazelnut kernel to France, 18 tons to Djibouti, 18 tons per week to Poland, and “Kaslar” company a40 tons of hazelnut kernel to Poland. In the near future the export of products to the relevant countries will start.
In addition, it was agreed to sign a contract on the export of apple between Azerbaijan's “Eco-Dry” Company and “Al-Jamil” of Djibouti. “Azerstar” company,which is engaged in the production of fruit and vegetable, agreed to export its products to Russia, Italy and France, and “AZ-Granata” to export pomegranate juice to Israel and the USA, and pomegranate wine to Spain.
“Balkhurma” company continues to negotiate with wholesale companies from France, Portugal, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Romania, as well as with Horeca chain of shops in Italy, Dubai, Egypt and Japan on the export of its products.
It should be noted that Sial Paris, with more than 7,000 companies from 109 countries, is one of the largest food fairs in Europe.
