A business meeting between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), and the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) was held on June 9.

Speaking at the meeting, Mission Director for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Azerbaijan and Chairman of the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) Reza Vaziri discussed trade relations between Azerbaijan and the United States and emphasized that trilateral cooperation will help develop economic relations between the United States and Azerbaijan as well as shared their views on prospects for mutual trade and investment cooperation.

The head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev shared information about reforms implemented in Azerbaijan to improve the business and investment climate further and spoke about the activity his organization has implemented to attract foreign investors in the country.          

During the meeting, USAID, AZPROMO, and USACC have signed a memorandum on trilateral cooperation.

The document reflected the issues of the export and promotion of Azerbaijan's agricultural products to new markets, including the expansion of foreign investment in the economy of Azerbaijan.
