The Wallonia Export and Investment Agency (AWEX) and the Flanders Investment, Trade, and Export Agency (FIT) jointly organized a meeting of Azerbaijani and Belgian entrepreneurs in Baku. The meeting took place within the framework of a trade mission to our country by representatives of companies operating in the health, energy, transport, chemical industry, trade, investment, and agriculture sectors of Belgium.

Addressing the event, the head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev provided information on the favorable business and investment environment created in our country and spoke about Azerbaijani-Belgian trade and economic cooperation and reported on measures taken to expand ties between business people of the two countries.

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Azerbaijan Michel Peetermans expressed his views on expanding the development of international trade, investment, and strengthening partnerships, noting that such events will contribute to cooperation.

During the meeting, presentations were made on Azerbaijan's favorable business and investment environment and the activities of the Economic Zones Development Agency as well as discussions took place on ways to expand trade and economic relations.
