The Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mohammad Adil Embarsh.

The head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev spoke about the activities of the Agency, business, and investment environment in our country, and provided information about the purpose of AZPROMO representatives' business trip to the Kingdom of Morocco scheduled for 20-22 February. Reportedly, the purpose of the visit is to hold meetings with entrepreneurs and investors operating in the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as to study the features and opportunities of the local market.

Emphasizing the high-level political relations between our countries, Ambassador of Morocco Mohammad Adil Embarsh noted that economic relations are an important issue, and the potential for their development is highly appreciated. It was noted that in addition to cooperation with the domestic market of the Kingdom of Morocco, Azerbaijan can act as a safe transit country to enable business peoples' access to other African countries.
