Presentation of investment projects (Investment Roadshow) took place in Tashkent within the framework of the I Uzbek-Azerbaijani Interregional Forum organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO.

Addressing the event, the head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev informed of the favorable investment environment created in Azerbaijan and noted the huge potential for increasing mutual investments. It was noted that holding the event in this format creates additional opportunities for business circles to expand investment cooperation. Yusif Abdullayev presented 10 investment projects covering industrial, agricultural, real estate, alternative energy, and other areas as well as invited Uzbek investors to active cooperation.

During the event, Ulugbek Kasymkhojaev, Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan, spoke about the investment potential of his country and presented 10 promising investment projects, while Fuad Allakhverdiyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AzerTelecom LLC, made a presentation on 'Digital Silk Road: new digital corridor between Europe and Asia.'

It should be noted that during 1991-2022, Azerbaijan invested 37.4 million US dollars in Uzbekistan while Uzbekistan's investments in Azerbaijan amounted to 18.7 million US dollars.
