The Caspian Energy Investment Forum 2023 held in Tbilisi discussed the potential of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia and the participation of Georgian companies in the territories liberated from occupation. New proposals for joint investments were made at the forum.
The 11th international forum titled 'Caspian Energy Investment Forum Tbilisi 2023' took place thanks to the joint organization of Caspian Energy Club and Caspian Energy Georgia. Over 200 representatives of public agencies, diplomatic and international missions accredited in Georgia, and executives of public and private companies from the Caspian-Black Sea region took part in the forum supported by the embassies of the two countries.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev emphasized that the development of the two countries shows an upward trend. It was noted that Georgia and Azerbaijan contribute to regional cooperation by actively participating in energy and transport projects.
Shabnam Allahverdiyeva, Advisor to the Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO reported on the Agency's activities, successful cooperation between AZPROMO and the relevant structures of Georgia, and the signing of several documents within the framework of this cooperation.
At the forum, Presidents of Caspian Energy Turkey and Caspian Energy Georgia Suleiman Majidli and Natig Mammadov along with the Georgian government representatives stressed the importance of implementing joint projects on renewable energy and expanding cooperation between the companies of the two countries.
