Azerbaijan's investment potential presented in Hungary

The event "Invest in Azerbaijan" organized in Budapest introduced the investment environment of our country, industrial zones, and agro-parks, restoration of territories liberated from occupation, opportunities created for foreign investors, applied incentives, etc.

The event "Invest in Azerbaijan" was held with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, the joint organization of the Trade Representation of Azerbaijan for Central European Countries in the Republic of Poland, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The organization of the event was supported by the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA).

The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Hungary Mr. Tahir Taghi-zade, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Ms. Katalin Bihari, representatives of HEPA and the Office of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as representatives of Hungarian companies operating in FMCG, construction, production of various machinery and equipment, consulting services, logistics, and other sectors.

During the event, employees of the Trade Representation made extensive presentations on the investment environment of Azerbaijan, foreign trade relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, industrial zones and agro parks in Azerbaijan, Alat Free Economic Zone, reconstruction and construction works implemented in the territories liberated from occupation, opportunities created for foreign investors, applied privileges, advantages of our country in the field of transit and logistics, and www.invest.gov.az website. The participants also received answers to their questions. The guests received with interest the information about the broad opportunities created for foreign investors in Azerbaijan and informed that they would submit relevant applications for further cooperation.
