Entrepreneurs of the two countries discussed the issues of increasing and improving production in the agricultural and industrial sectors.

To promote exports and attract foreign investments, an event entitled "Azerbaijan and Italy - for the sake of better food production" was held in Baku under the joint organization of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - AZPROMO and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).

The event was attended by 12 Italian companies working in the field of agriculture and food industry, about 100 Azerbaijani entrepreneurs, representatives of specialized state organizations, local authorities, and international financial institutions.

During the event, opinions were exchanged on the diversification of Azerbaijan's economy, the increase and improvement of production in agricultural and industrial sectors in line with international standards, the importance of maximizing the opportunities of the mentioned sectors in our country, and the importance of exchange of experience.

The event went on within the framework of B2B meetings of businessmen.
