The opening ceremony of the 5th Trade House of our country in China was held. Issues related to the expansion and diversification of trade relations with China were discussed at the event.
The Trade House presents information on the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, tourism potential, economic opportunities, and the investment environment of our country. The trading house, established with the support of the Ministry of Economy and the organization of the trade mission of our country in China, presents to Chinese consumers products of the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand. It mainly includes teas, fruit juices, wines, jams, marmalades, confectionery, etc.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Azerbaijan Trade House in Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan Province, Ambassador of our country to China Bunyad Huseynov, Deputy Chairman of Chinbaijiang District People's Government of Sichuan Province Lei Ting, and Head of Azerbaijan Trade House Huang Chao talked about the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries. It was reported that the Trade House will contribute to the deepening of cultural ties between the nations and the promotion of Azerbaijani products of high taste, and quality in China.
The Azerbaijan Trade House, established with the help of private investments, is located in the Sichuan Free Trade Zone of Chengdu's Chinbaijiang district. From the international railway port of this free trade zone in Chengdu, cargo trains are sent to Europe through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor. The Azerbaijan Trade House is located in our country's country pavilion town, in the port area. Its area is about 600 square meters. At present, pavilions of 34 countries, including Turkiye, Greece, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, and New Zealand, are operating in this town. Azerbaijan Trade House is one of the largest trade houses in the town.
This is the fifth Azerbaijani trading house in China. Another 4 trading houses operate in Qingdao, Kanchatie, Xi'an, and in the capital Beijing. In addition to trading houses, there are 4 trading departments in Shanghai, Harbin, Jinan, and Wuhan, and 3 wine houses in Urumqi and Shanghai. Trade and wine houses have a great influence on the promotion of export-oriented and competitive products produced under the brand "Made in Azerbaijan" in the Chinese market, as well as on the promotion and expansion of the export of Azerbaijani products.
As the operator of the trading house, Sichuan Rongda Juxin International Trade purchases Azerbaijani products through Sino-Foreign Economic Cooperation (Beijing) Science and Trade, the operator of several trading houses and importer of Azerbaijani products. The company intends to expand the sale of Azerbaijani products in Chengdu in the future due to its extensive business relations.
It should be noted that Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan Province, is the fourth largest city in China with a population of over 21 million. As one of the major economic, financial, trade, transportation, communication, and scientific centers of the country, Chengdu is known as the fastest-growing city in China.
