Information was provided on the mechanisms of support for exporters, rules of application, exemption from customs duties and taxes on imported raw materials when exporting goods, etc.
With the support of the Ministry of Economy of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the organisation of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, training was held within the framework of the "Export Academy" project to improve the knowledge and skills of entrepreneurs. The event was attended by representatives of 23 Nakhchivan companies from the chemical, automotive, food, and construction industries.
During the training, information was provided on the activities and support mechanisms of AZPROMO, rules of application, exemption of imported raw materials from customs duties and taxes when exporting goods subject to the special customs procedure of internal processing, and a presentation was made on export promotion mechanisms. In addition, employees of the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Tax Service, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, and the Food Safety Agency of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, who participated in the event as trainers, acquainted the participants with international standards and requirements in the sphere of export, certificates and certifications necessary for export, provided detailed information on the granting of subsidies, the order of implementation of subsidies, and the procedure of export of goods.
Familiarisation with several production enterprises operating in Nakhchivan took place.
