The possibilities of expanding trade and economic relations with Tajikistan were discussed.

The Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO hosted a meeting with the Tajik delegation led by Bakhtiyor Nazirmadzoda, First Deputy Director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Yusif Abdullaev, Executive Director of AZPROMO, presented information on the general economic situation in our country and the Agency's activities, including export promotion mechanisms and the logistics support mechanism, which is due for approval soon. It was noted that the potential of transit exports to Tajikistan and from Tajikistan to neighbouring countries is high, and the development of cooperation at this level is one of the important issues.

Bakhtiyor Nazirmadzoda, the First Deputy Director of the Export Agency of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, provided information on the activities of the Agency he represented, Tajikistan's trade turnover, and the potential of transit and logistics. It was stressed that the development of trade relations with our country can make an important contribution to the diversification of Tajikistan's bilateral trade relations.

Taking into account the strategic geographical position of our countries, the meeting focused on the prospects for strengthening the partnership in the field of trade and logistics.
