At a meeting with the Italian delegation, opportunities for cooperation with institutions of that country were discussed.

A meeting was held in Baku between the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Alat Free Economic Zone, the Italian Confederation of Small and Medium Industry, Italy’s Deposits and Loans Fund, Foreign Trade Insurance Services, and the Italian Society for Enterprises Operating Abroad.

During the meeting, potential areas of cooperation with Italian institutions were highlighted, and presentations were delivered on Azerbaijan’s investment opportunities as well as on the Alat Free Economic Zone.

The parties exchanged views on the organization of the Azerbaijan–Italy Business Forum planned to be held in Baku in 2026, as well as on the Memorandum of Understanding and the Action Plan envisaged to be signed between AZPROMO and ITA within the framework of the forum.
