The Turkic Council Business Forum was convened on 19 February in Istanbul. More than 100 businessmen from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey representing various sectors participated at the forum.
26 azerbaijani companies operating in agriculture and food processing, construction, textile, construction, medicine, consulting and other sectors were participated  at the event with the support of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The Secretary General of the Co-operation Council of Turkic Speaking States, Halil Akıncı highlighted the importance of this meeting in enhancing cooperation between businessmen and spoke about the activity of the Co-operation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the work done by the Council, as well as measures taken for further strengthening the economic cooperation among Turkic speaking states.
Then, representatives from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan made various reports on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States.
The representative of AZPROMO  Zaur Ibrahimov had a presentation on investment climate and business opportunities in Azerbaijan. He gave information about business and favorable investment environment of Azerbaijan, large-scale regional projects implemented and AZPROMO's activity.
The business forum continued with bilateral meetings between businessmen.
