On December 15, the delegations of Poland headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and Minister of Economy which was headed by Mr. Janusz Pechocinski were participated during Azerbaijani-Polish business form which was held with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Industry and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). Along with officials from both sides and more than 150 people from agriculture and food industry, IT, industrial, health and other sectors took part in the study.
The Energy Minister of Azerbaijan, Natiq Aliyev, attaches great importance to developing relations with the countries of the European Union, Europe's main trading partner in the South Caucasus country, and has played an important role in Europe's energy security. It was noted that in recent years there is huge development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland, and various business visits are especially important in the development of bilateral economic relations.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and Minister of Economy, Janusz Piechociński, gave information about the economy of Poland and stressed the importance of the meetings and business forums and continuation of such events in the development of economic cooperation, as well as contribute to the establishment of new relations between the businessmen of Azerbaijan and Poland.
The president of AZPROMO, Rufat Mammadov, had a presentation about the country's trade, economic relations with Poland, and the investment climate and business opportunities of Azerbaijan. The participants of forum discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the continued bilateral meetings.
