The next export mission of Azerbaijan is in Sankt-Petersburg, Russia. Export mission organized with the purpose of “Made in Azerbaijan” brand promotion with support of Ministry of Economy and organization of AZPROMO includes the representatives of 18 companies engaged in the production of fruit juices, natural mineral waters, fruit and vegetable products, tanned food, ice-cream and other fields. During the mission Azerbaijan businessmans participated at XVII Petersburg Food Forum held in Sankt-Petersburg within “Peterfood” food exhibition. Participation organized jointly by AZPROMO and Azerbaijan Trade Representative Office in Russia. Within the forum discussions made on the main directions of wholesale commerce for 2017-2018 years, forecasts and trends in this field, as well as new strategies towards new customers attraction, and a master-class held for business owners.

Within the event, bilaterial meetings with large store networks from Russia northwest region held for mission participants. In the meetings attended by such large store networks as “X5 Retail Group”, “Ashan”, “Magnit”, “Diksi” və “Metro” and local distributor company representatives, Azerbaijan producers demonstrated their products as well. Making a speech in opening ceremony of “Peterfood” exhibition, where Azerbaijan delegation also participated, AZPROMO Vice-president Yusif Abdullayev informed the attendees of event about the measures carried out related to “Made in Azerbaijan” brand promotion according to the Decree and AZPROMO activity as well.
Export mission will last till November 16.
