On 27-28 November in Dubai, United Arabian Emirates, General Assembly meeting of World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and XXII World Investment Conference held.Considering dynamic activity of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and his contribution to the organization development, the head of AZPROMO Rufat Mammadov has been elected WAIPA vice-president for the next (third) time with Management Committee decision in WAIPA conference.
It should be noted that WAIPA was established in 1995 in Geneva and has 170 members from 130 countries. The main purpose of WAIPA are the enhancement of cooperation among investment promotion agencies, information exchange related to investment attracting, as well as support member organizations in the formation of investment strategy.
