On June 2, a meeting was held between Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and the Japanese delegation headed by Takashi Nishioka, the head of “ROTOBO” Trade Association which fulfils coordination works for the Japan-Azerbaijan Economic Committee. During the event the President of AZPROMO Rufat Mammadov informed the guests on the economic success gained by Azerbaijan, large-scale regional projects, favourable business and investment opportunities created in this country for entrepreneurs, as well as support provided by AZPROMO to businessmen.

The Head of “ROTOBO” Takashi Nishioka emphasized his interest in Azerbaijani economy and enormous potential of the both countries to expand economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan.

The meeting continued with a presentation of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, an exchange of ideas regarding cooperation in different sectors of economy, and the question-answer round.
