In the meeting organized in the Ministry of Economy participated the leaders of local producers and exporters associations dealing with various fields.

The Deputy-minister of Economy Rufat Mammadov in his speech at the meeting provided information on the complex and regular measures carried out under the management of the President of Azerbaijan Republic with the purpose of support production and export, as well as applied up-to-date mechanisms. It was emphasized that for support of the business and conducting coordinated and systematical measures in the sphere of production and export, 15 associations of local producers and exporters were established since 2016. These associations established by support of the Ministry of Economy play significant role in taking to the foreign markets and sales provision of fruits and vegetables, pomegranate, nut, wine, tea, honey, furniture, construction materials and other local products, as well as in export potential increase. The sessions of associations are held regularly, discussions on development of corresponding fields made and meetings organized. The associations participate at various exhibitions in the country and abroad. Rufat Mammadov noted that the support to the joining of the business owners dealing with various spheres in the corresponding associations will be proceeded.

The discussions concerning future activity and strategically development plans of the associations, exchange of experience among them within Exporters Club held at the meeting, the questions interesting for attendant were replied.

The associations’ representatives emphasized at the meeting that support mechanisms to the development of nonoil sector, as well as the measures related to “Made in Azerbaijan” brand promotion serve a good motivation for the businessmen.
