On May 20, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), and the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a webinar on Economic Development and Business Opportunities in Azerbaijan and Georgia for Austrian companies interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Austrian Trade Commissioner to Azerbaijan Georg Karabaczek stressed the importance of the meeting in expanding ties between the countries’ business circles, noting the great interest of the Austrian business community in Azerbaijan and opportunities for cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

Speaking at the webinar, the acting head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev told the participants about the country’s favorable business and investment climate and invited Austrian business people to take advantage of these opportunities.

He expressed confidence that cooperation will provide benefit to the business people of the three countries and promote the development of bilateral relations.

In conclusion, presentations were made on investment opportunities in Azerbaijan and Georgia, with questions of interest to Austrian businesspeople answered and discussions held.
