The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) held a meeting with Salima Abdelhak, Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of relations in various economic sectors, including the export of non-oil products and the expansion of mutual investment cooperation.

Speaking about the activities of his organization, the head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev talked about the work and measures undertaken to ensure the development of the non-oil sector in the country, the constant improvement of the business environment, the expansion of exports, the promotion of the ‘Made in Azerbaijan’ brand and foreign investments.

Algerian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Salima Abdelhak shared her vision on the development of economic partnership and stressed the importance of business meetings in this area.

The business meeting focused on increasing mutual export and investment potential between Azerbaijan and Algeria and included a discussion on establishing cooperation with the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (ALGEX) in Algeria.
