Azerbaijani-Uzbek business forum of women entrepreneurs took place during the official visit of the Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva to Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the event, the chair of the Milli Majlis Family, Women's and Children's Affairs Committee Hijran Huseynova stressed the importance of ties and development of cooperation between our country and Uzbekistan and shared her views on expanding the partnership.
Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, expressed satisfaction with the development of ties between the two friendly countries, noting the event's significance in terms of the development of economic relations. 
Yusif Abdullayev, head of AZPROMO, provided information on the business and investment climate in Azerbaijan as well as on the activities carried out by the organization he represents to establish and expand ties between business circles.
During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding on the development of bilateral relations was signed between the Association for the Development of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and the Women's Club of the Commission on the Role of Women in Society, Gender Equality, and Family Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The business forum continued its activity in the format of bilateral meetings between the two countries' women entrepreneurs.
