The Second Economic Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan. At the event, the head of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev represented Azerbaijan, which has the status of an SCO dialogue partner.                                   

The hybrid format event was attended by heads of government agencies, banks, companies, industry associations, chambers of commerce and industry, and experts.

Speaking at the plenary session and during the discussion panel on "Features of international cooperation and restoration of trade and economic relations," the head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev provided information about Azerbaijan’s economic development, export, and investment opportunities, and the economic partnership of our country with SCO states, the areas of developing relations with business circles as well as noted the development of Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations and the contribution made by the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between the two countries.

The head of AZPROMO visited the exhibition of industrial innovations organized in the framework of the forum and held several meetings.
