Export missions

Export missions are a support measure implemented to discover access to new markets as well as to strengthen the position of local products in existing markets and introduce new products to these markets.

Considering the export potential of non-oil sector products, exporters' requests, international economic and trade relations of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Economy defines the countries to be visited and the dates of the visits.

A maximum of 30 exporters can participate in the 6-day trip

A maximum of 30 exporters can participate in the 6-day trip; each exporter is authorized to have only 1 representative.         

The state budget shall cover all logistic expenses related to the trip (hotel, transportation, rental of rooms, and equipment for business meetings, translation services).      

A minimum of 15 days before the day of the competition, the announcements on the admission of applications for each subsequent export mission will be posted in the Announcements section.      

After the submission of applications, the competition committee established by the Ministry of Economy will hold a competition within a predetermined time frame to select exporters to participate in the mission as well as to evaluate the applications and make a decision.

Results shall be published within 2 days thereafter  2 days

Applications shall be evaluated against the following criteria:

• the exporter's capacity to produce the product;
• export potential of the exporter to the target country or countries;
• export-related experience;

The candidates achieving a minimum passing score on the above criteria shall be declared winners.

The contestants shall be notified of the results within 2 business days after the competition.
